This is another one of those tasks that is very
time consuming once you learn what to do and very hard to master to
actually start generating traffic to your blog.
The truth is, even if you have all the
content in the world, you may get no traffic if you don't let people
know about that content, and give them a good reason to check it out!
This can be done by acquiring one way back
links to your blog and individual blog posts so that Google
and other search engines realize that "other" sites are linking to the
site. This will tell Google that your site is "important" and
should be ranked higher in their search engine, because every back link
pointing to your blog is just like a vote for your search ranking to go
higher!
Now this is something that
can get you in trouble if you're using one of those "back linking"
services that you see being advertised on the cheap, or even if you try
to outsource it to someone that does not know what they are doing.
You see, Google frowns BIG time upon anything other
than natural links back to your site. If they suspect you've
joined a "back link farming" service, you could be in big
trouble and get your site black listed.
The solution to this is posting relevant
high quality comments on related blogs with links back to
your site creating a one way back link.
But you're probably thinking "I don't know what to
write or don't have time to write tons of relevant text to post to
